So I have a question regarding the microsoft patching and landesk - I have found this document and we are patching based on this
Patch Detection for Security-only Quality Update and Security Monthly Quality Rollup
We apply the monthly rollups.
My question is for the security only updates that are not monthly? so for example the MS18-07-SONET-4340004_INTL definition. this title is Security only update for .NET framework.....
Does this patch exist in the rollup? And the cumulative security update for internet explorer July 10 2018. does the cumulative security update exist in the main Security Monthly rollups?
Should we be just applying the security monthly rollup ( which contains all patches up to that month ) Or still be applying the .NET update and the IE cumulative updates?
What is everyone else doing? this is for Windows 7 still we have windows 10 sorted.
