Problem:
Patch Manager randomly loses settings inside the download updates window.
In "patch and compliance" the button "download updates" is used to to configure and schedule the download of the definition updates.
Sometimes the parameters inside download updates are reset to blank. The result is that it does not download updates and you have to reconfigure it.
Cause:
This is due to database corruption
Resolution:
- Make a backup of the database.
- Close all LANDesk consoles and stop all LANDesk services using the batch file in this article:

DROPtable PatchSettings
- Open a cmd as a administrator and go to this path and run this command:
* C:\Program Files (x86)\LANDesk\ManagementSuite>CoreDbUtil.exe /xml=Datamart.xml - In the Gui Interface inside CoreDBUtil select "build components"
- Restart all LAndesk service as explain in Step #2
- Login to your console and review the patch settings in the Download Updates tool.
